Housing New Zealand has tested 19 of its houses in Wanganui for the presence of methamphetamine after traces of the drug were found in three properties. The houses, in various parts of the city, were among those the corporation was offering for sale under its FirstHome programme, aimed at making it easier for people to get into their first home.
